This guidebook is designed to help school staff, parents and communities work towards making their school a welcoming and supportive place for pregnant and parenting students to be.

The book is divided into two sections:

Section 1: Step by Step - a process for developing and implementing a policy and strategy to improve the school completion rates of pregnant and parenting students.

Section 2: Side by Side - a professional development program for staff and school communities. Overhead and handout masters included.
