We [Maree, Robie (Kirwan SHS), Ben (Kirwan SHS), Carolyn (Future), Marianne (JCU)] are meeting at this very moment to finalize plans.

We have taken the liberty of assigning roles and jobs for the night.

Robie has set up a website. The record of proceedings for the night for the three sessions (Girls, teachers, parents) will be captured in real time and everyone will leave with a brochure with basic information from the night.

Proceedings will begin at 6pm sharp. Please make sure your teachers and students know we will be working in real time - not NQ time.

10 guests are set up around the library. Girls are allotted to small groups and interview their guests. (Three guests per group. First two guests for about 10 minutes and last guest for about 30 minutes. With the last guest the girls will be designing a powerpoint display that represents what they have learned from the interviews.)

What is IPT - Noreena (Robie will download the draft syllabus onto the website - if you are using a powerpoint or even notes, Robie would like to put them on the website - behind your photo!!!!!)

Post School Options - Marianne (JCU) & Rachel (TAFE) - Please email links & any info you want loaded onto the website to Robie for this.

7pm: Girls, Parents and Teachers meet back together in the library for nibbles and a cup of tea. This is a time for further networking and meeting of guests that the girls haven't yet interacted with and for parents / teachers to ask questions of..

7.15pm: Girls present their powerpoints on guests to whole audience.

YOUR JOBS: If you are presenting or have anything you want to put on the website, please email these to Robie asap - professional website links, your presentation notes, (Noreena / Allan - QSITE?? Noreena - Gidgit site) etc

GUESTS: Don't feel you have to do any preparation. Just turn up and be prepared to answer the girls questions, then to collaborate with the last group to put a short powerpoint together. If you have a profile available you could email it to back to this address and we'll make it available on the web.

Many thanks to you all for your contribution to the night. So long as the kids, teachers and paretns turn up it should be very exciting. I'll do a media release and hopefully we'll see something in the paper.
