The AWE supports education as a career path for women both informally and through formal programs such the leadership program for women leaders and aspirants. The duration of the program is six months, commencing with a 3-day residential, followed by a 2-day follow up six months later.

Participants engage in an experiential, practical program, strengthening and sustaining their learning transfer over six months through a reflective learning process, and the support of experienced facilitators, mentors and a professional learning network.
