Welcome to the 2006 AWE Conference

The Conference Strands reflect the three foci of the Association of Women Educators:

Education as a career path for women

Issues which affect the quality of education available to girls

Societal attitudes/actions which perpetuate a stereotypical view of women and create a barrier to the full participation of women in education and in society generally.


Conference strands will be reflected in the themes of LEAD - LAUGH - LEARN.

Receipts will be available to collect on registering at the Conference unless

requested to be posted out beforehand.
